It has a very smooth and warm atmosphere. Tye took his time but it was worth it because he takes pride and care in his craft. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I was there! The shop is itself is like walking into a time machine.... lots to look at and everything is neat and in its place. The haircut was excellent and the beard trim was exactly what I was going for (and honestly he went above and beyond what I could've asked for). The hot towel and straight razor were a nice touch. He also has a plethora of knowledge of the products he sells, some of which are local. While this was my first and only time getting my hair and beard cut at the Chop Shop, it was not my first time hanging out.
